Dave Stephens
Dave co-founded Coupa in February 2006 with a vision to create a purchasing solution so straightforward and simple that it would be widely accessible to small and mid-sized organizations, which have been underserved by existing e-procurement solutions. As CEO, Dave is responsible for the overall company strategy and global sales.
An enterprise software visionary, Dave brings over 12 years of experience in procurement technology. Prior to co-founding Coupa, Dave was VP of Oracle Procurement Applications, where he was responsible for building and leading the business group to its current success among Fortune 1000 companies. A strong advocate of open source in the enterprise, Dave introduced Oracle’s first Apache and JServ-based application in 1998. With his keen instinct for identifying market-changing technologies, Dave delivered Oracle’s first multi-tenant SaaS in 2000.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
Noah Eisner
Noah co-founded Coupa in February 2006, sharing Dave’s vision to create the world’s simplest purchasing solution. As VP of Product, Noah’s focus is fulfilling Coupa’s mission to deliver full-featured e-procurement solutions offering unprecedented usability. In addition to designing Coupa products, Noah oversees the company’s worldwide operations and marketing.
Prior to co-founding Coupa, Noah worked as Senior Director of Product Management for Oracle’s Applications. A recognized expert in the supplier collaboration field, Noah pioneered both the Oracle iSupplier Portal and the Oracle Supplier Network service. Previous to that, he was part of the business development team that landed a significant number of strategic deals for the Oracle Exchange product line.
Noah holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Andrew Jassy
Andrew Jassy is a senior executive with Amazon.com. He has served as Senior Vice President, Web Services, since April 2006 and, from January 2005 to April 2006, was Vice President, Web Services. From September 2003 to January 2005, he was Vice President, Associates and Web Services. From November 2002 to September 2003, he was Vice President and Technical Assistant. Prior to joining Amazon.com in 1997, Andrew was the founder and manager of a marketing consulting company.
Andrew is a graduate from Harvard College and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Jonathan Ebinger
Jonathan Ebinger is a partner with BlueRun Ventures. Previous experience includes VP of Marketing for Qwest Communications and senior level positions at Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions and MCI Communications. In addition, Jonathan founded and successfully exited Simply Savings, Inc., an Internet start-up in the telecom arena. Jonathan also serves on the Board of Directors of Jittr Networks, Availink, and Enpocket.
He earned his MBA from Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech.
Vineet Buch
Vineet Buch is an investment professional with BlueRun Ventures. Previously, Vineet was a Director in Oracle’s Server Technologies group. He was also Co-Founder and CTO of Karient, a provider of systems management software. Vineet started Karient after serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Corio. Before joining Corio, Vineet was a Practice Manager in Oracle Consulting. Vineet serves on the board of Ugenie, and is also involved with Like.com, Slide, and Zmanda.
Vineet has an MS in Computer Science from Cornell University and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT, Kanpur.
