We are looking for a Jr. QA Engineer to join the team and the candidate will be working at our Reno office. As a Jr. QA engineer, you will be working side by side with other QA engineers, support engineers, developers, release manager and product managers. You will be part of the QA team to support and ensure quality of a complex e-procurement system and deliver good quality product releases in our agile, scrum, and sprint process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and run tests to support the quality of software releases
  • Conduct manual testing prior to each release
  • Regularly review testing procedures to reflect latest releases
  • Pro-actively suggest improvements to the software based testing and user experience
  • Communicate regularly with all team members to ensure that all releases are kept clean, re-work is minimized, and content and software goals are being met

 

  •  Qualifications:

    •  0-2 Years software QA experience.
    • BS in engineering or computer science
    • Strong Analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Strong written and communication skills required
    • Familiarity with PC, Mac, and mobile operating systems with a wide variety of browsers including Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome and Safari
    • Knowledge about Procurement, Invoicing and Expense management systems is a plus
    • Experience writing scripts for automated testing using tools like Selenium, a plus
    • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and Git a plus
