We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer/Architect to join our team located in Reno, NV. As a Senior Automation Engineer/Architect you will be:

  • Analyzing gaps in the current test automation framework and recommend/drive improvements
  • Create and automate reusable business-level tests that are easy to maintain even when underlying feature changes
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand new features and automate their testing in mobile/web platforms
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge to peer QA members
  • Evaluate/build tools to integrate with other systems

 Required Skills:   

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing web and enterprise based products/solutions
  • Excellent coding in Ruby (on or off rails) OR an ability to learn/advance rapidly, transitioning from Java or other programming languages
  • Solid experience with automation frameworks/tools (Rspec, Cabybara, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver), continuous integration systems (Jenkins)
  • Solid scripting skills with experience in an advanced scripting language like Python, Perl, or Ruby
  • Able to set up and implement automation test topology, write test automation scripts from scratch and develop necessary tools
  • Experience with RESTful web services and APIs and understanding of automated testing for web based API
  • Demonstrated expertise with XML and related tools and technologies
  • Solid understanding QA/Test Automation Best Practices
  • Quick and self-bootstrapping learner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail
