Rob Bernshteyn, Chief Executive Officer

Rob brings 15 years of experience in enterprise software to his position as CEO at Coupa. Prior to joining Coupa, Rob spent four years with SuccessFactors, the global leader in Performance and Talent Management delivered via the software-as-a-service model. As a member of the SuccessFactors executive management team he served as their global vice president of product marketing and management.

Rob has also directed product management at Siebel Systems, where he contributed to building their Employee Relationship Management suite of applications into Siebel’s fastest-growing product two years after launch. Before that, Rob was an associate at McKinsey & Company and a global project manager at Accenture where he managed numerous successful global SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software implementations.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Gary W. Hanna, EVP of Sales

With more than 20 years of experience at technology leaders Oracle, Siebel Systems and Salesforce.com, Gary brings significant expertise in rapidly building, leading, and scaling sales organizations at high-growth companies. In his new role as executive vice president of sales, Gary will be responsible for building the global sales organization and further accelerating sales of Coupa e-Procurement.

Prior to Coupa, Gary was Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales at Salesforce.com, the leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and cloud computing. While there, he grew bookings more than 35% a year. Previously, Gary was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas and Public Sector for Siebel Systems, where he managed a 400 person sales organization delivering record results. Gary was a member of Siebel’s operating committee until the merger with Oracle.

Gary holds a Bachelors degree in Communications from Abilene Christian University.

Noah Eisner, VP of Product  

Noah co-founded Coupa, sharing Dave’s vision to create the world’s simplest purchasing solution. As VP of Product, Noah’s focus is fulfilling Coupa’s mission to deliver full-featured e-procurement solutions offering unprecedented usability.

Prior to co-founding Coupa, Noah worked as Senior Director of Product Management for Oracle’s Applications. A recognized expert in the supplier collaboration field, Noah pioneered both the Oracle iSupplier Portal and the Oracle Supplier Network service. Previous to that, he was part of the business development team that landed a significant number of strategic deals for the Oracle Exchange product line.

Noah holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Jason Hekl, VP of Marketing  

Prior to joining Coupa, Jason was vice president of corporate marketing at InQuira, where he was responsible for all corporate marketing initiatives, including demand generation, messaging, and marketing communications, and helped grow revenues nearly ten-fold over a four year period. Before joining InQuira, Jason held positions in product management, alliances and sales at Siebel Systems and InSystems Technologies.

Jason earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Delaware.

David Williams, Director of Engineering  

David has been part of the Coupa team since its inception. As Director of Engineering, David leads Coupa’s technical developments and product delivery. One of the top talents in the developer community, David brings ten years of engineering experience with special focus on scalability, security and application extensibility.

Prior to joining Coupa, David was a seven year development veteran in the Oracle Procurement Applications group, where he performed advanced prototyping for Oracle’s Project Fusion. Earlier in his career, he developed the core infrastructure for Oracle Exchange.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech.

Ravi Thakur, VP of Services and Support 

Prior to joining Coupa, Ravi spent over ten years at Oracle building and leading a variety of teams in the applications product line. He was instrumental in leading a number of cross functional teams to streamline the product management and development processes after the Peoplesoft, Siebel, and JDE acquisitions.

Throughout his career, he has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies to ensure successful deployments of Oracle solutions. He was also responsible for the hosting infrastructure and operational processes for Oracle Exchange, Oracle’s first multi-tenant SaaS offering in 2000.

Ravi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
