In late 2005, Dave Stephens and Noah Eisner set out to radically transform the procurement application market by delivering a system that was so simple to use and so accessible to all types of companies. Expensive ERP and unusable point solutions were not the answer. With a very basic concept and a large market, the two former Oracle executives founded Coupa in early 2006. Industry acceptance came as Coupa brand became synonymous with best-in-class usability and fast return on investment, all delivered through its on-demand platform.
Fast-forward to 2011, Coupa is the fastest-growing eProcurement vendor with well-known customers on 5 different continents enjoying the value of Coupa everyday.
