Coupa named Hottest Emerging B2B Software Company in Europe

Savings-as-a-Service leader recognized as the one to watch by more than 300 European senior executives in an online survey

SAN MATEO — December 14, 2015 — Coupa Software, a leading provider of cloud-based spend management solutions, today announced that it has been named the Hottest Emerging B2B Software Business in Europe by an executive recruiting firm in London based on an annual survey of business leaders working in the enterprise software market.

The online survey was conducted by Intrinsic Executive Search (https://www.intrinsicsearch.com/hows-the-market/) firm and queried more than 300 European business leaders, of which 200 were at the CEO and vice president level and the remaining 100 were a mix of senior sales, pre-sales and marketing executives.

When asked to name a hot emerging software business in Europe, Coupa received more nominations than any other software company in the region. Runners-up include Workday (NYSE: WDAY) and Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA). In previous years, past winners were Box (NYSE: BOX) (2014), Cloudera (2013), ExactTarget (2012) and Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) (2011).

This year, 50 percent of those queried were based in the United Kingdom, while the remaining 50 percent represented the rest of mainland Europe including Germany, France, Benelux, Switzerland, Spain and Italy.
