John is an active member of ISM Silicon Valley, holding various positions on the Board over the last several years. He has served in senior corporate supply management positions at leading-edge Silicon Valley companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems, Inc.

John founded the professional development curriculum in Supply Chain Management and Purchasing at San Jose State University. He holds a BS in Finance and a MBA in Operations Management. He is the co-author of several books, including The Procurement & Supply Manager’s Desk Reference.
