Coupa’s Mobile Approver has redefined how managers take action while on the go. With the latest release of the iPhone application, approvers are now just one touch away from being able to take action.


Approvers can now receive instant, pop-up notifications the instant a purchase requisition or expense report is submitted for approval. Simply press the View button and be taken directly to the To Do list where managers can quickly get into the system, approve or reject a request, and get back to bigger things – at anytime, from anywhere.



Speedy Account Selector

Using Coupa’s existing account picker is a powerful way to pick the appropriate account when checking out, creating new invoices, or editing user accounts. With the new Speedy Account Selector, you can now simply open the field, start typing and let the system search for appropriate matching accounts.


The search will begin as soon as you type in 3 characters and then with every additional character. Search is not case-sensitive and highlights your search string in the list of available accounts. If more than 15 search results are found, it will return the first 14 and then tell you how many additional accounts are available. You can continue entering in characters to further refine your account search.

Quick Requisition Copying

Our customer community has told us about cases where they want to copy a requisition created by others. Perhaps it’s a buyer who needs to create a similar requisition that someone in the organization has created or a user who wants to create one from a requisition that he/she has approved in the past. With the enhanced copy requisition function to support copying for any requisition that you have access to. So, you’ll see the copy function in views such as “Reqs That I’ve Approved” in the My Account table and throughout the Requisitions table.

Accelerated Approval Chains

Managing approval workflows via approval chains is an incredibly efficient was to ensure that all the appropriate individuals review the request. However, there are instances where certain individuals can be skipped in order to accelerate the process and get requestors what they need faster than ever before.


With this new option, you can easily skip all specific approvers on that chain up to and including the requestor. Based on the skip conditions (i.e. requisition amount, who the requestor is, etc.) the approval chain will dynamically change to include the right individuals instead of just default to every single person in the approval chain.
