- Electronic Receipt Management. Finally, an easy way to manage your receipts that is as simple as sending an email.
- Pre-Approved Purchases. A uniquely Coupa combination of features that makes it easy for employees to initiate online purchases as requisitions that managers can review and approve before the employee places the order. And once that order is placed, the employee can easily convert the order details into a pre-approved line item on his or her expense report. The pre-approval also benefits the manager – the amount of the order is automatically applied against the proper account and budget period, meaning no more end-of-quarter spending surprises.
- Drag-and-Drop Expense Report Preparation. Filling in an expense report has never been easier! Simply drag receipts from your “My Receipts” box, and drop them into the report, greatly reducing errors while pre-filling the description and amount. And if you make a mistake, not to worry – Coupa will alert you to missing receipts, category spending limits, and more – while you are preparing your expense report.
- Frugal Meter to Foster a Culture of Smarter Spending. It’s amazing what a gentle nudge or simple thank you can do. Coupa’s patent-pending Frugal Meter dynamically monitors mean expenditures for each category of spend, and gently warns employees when their expenses “seem a little high,” and thanks them for “being frugal” when their expenses are well below the mean.
- Audit expense reports based on likelihood of fraudulent or excessive spending behavior. Coupa Expense Management removes the need for an “all or nothing” approach to expense report verification by automatically calculating scores each and every expense report, and employee, to identify suspect or fraudulent patterns that warrant further attention from the accounting department and employee managers.
