Chantal Wessels

Chantal Wessels is Vice President of Finance at Nasdaq. She is based in Nasdaq’s International headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. She is responsible for Nasdaq’s international finance teams and global accounting operations.

She is a member of Nasdaq’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging council and co-chairs the global Women in Nasdaq network.

She is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Finance working committee, representing Europe.

Chantal is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours degree in Accounting and Finance which she obtained at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa.

Chantal joined Nasdaq in 2013 where she was responsible for the Asia Pacific finance teams, based in Sydney and later relocated to the Stockholm office where she holds her current position.

Before joining Nasdaq, she spent a number of years with EY, PKF and Thomson Reuters acting in various roles.
