Coupa Software Appoints Jean Tali Vice President of Sales
Industry Veteran from Genius.com and Microsoft to Expand Global Adoption of Coupa e-Procurement
Foster City, Calif. – June 24, 2008 – Coupa Software, the leading on demand e-procurement vendor for companies of all sizes, today announced the appointment of Jean Tali as vice president of sales. In this role, Jean will be responsible for expanding global sales of Coupa e-Procurement, developing strategic industry partnerships, and expanding Coupa’s relationships with major suppliers.
With more than 16 years of experience managing sales organizations targeting the SME market, Jean will play a significant role in fulfilling Coupa’s mission to bring e-procurement to the mass market.

Prior to Coupa, Jean was vice president of corporate sales at Genius.com, an on demand provider of one-to-one marketing solutions for sales and marketing professionals. She led Genius.com’s dramatic sales growth from fledgling start-up to over 600 corporate accounts in under two years. Previously, Jean managed the Western Region for Microsoft’s Unified Communications Group, where her team grew new business at a rapid 35% quarter over quarter. She also served as director of inside sales at PlaceWare Inc., where her organization doubled its customer base and generated more than $53 million in revenue up until being acquired by Microsoft.
