Coupa Software Appoints Gary Hanna Executive Vice President of Sales
Silicon Valley Veteran from Salesforce.com and Siebel Systems to Drive Accelerating Sales Execution
San Mateo, Calif. – Coupa Software, the developer of industry-leading, category-disrupting Web-based spend management solutions, today announced the appointment of Gary Hanna as executive vice president of sales. In this role, Gary will be responsible for building the global sales organization and further accelerating sales of Coupa e-Procurement.
With more than 20 years of relevant experience at technology leaders Oracle, Siebel Systems and Salesforce.com, Gary brings significant expertise in rapidly building, leading, and scaling sales organizations at high-growth companies. “The Coupa Software solution is nothing short of game-changing for any company interested in effectively controlling their spending,” said Gary Hanna. “What CRM technology has done for the sell-side, Coupa is doing for the buy-side. Previously, Gary was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas and Public Sector for Siebel Systems, where he managed a 400 person sales organization delivering record results. Gary was a member of Siebel’s operating committee until the merger with Oracle.
