Coupa Announces Globalization of Popular Cloud Spend Management Solution

New Release Includes Extended Multi-Language, Multi-Currency Support for Enterprises.

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Coupa Software, the leading provider of innovative Cloud Spend Management (CSM) solutions today announced a new  e-procurement and expense management software release with a rich feature set that helps companies across the globe achieve improved visibility into their spending and significantly reduce costs.

Among the list of new features is support for multiple currencies and languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and UK English. Because of Coupa’s exclusive cloud solution, global enterprises only need to deploy one instance worldwide regardless of language, currency, or geography.

In addition, the new release streamlines the expense reporting process for international business travelers. Travelers can submit their report in both local and foreign currency for better tracking. Plus Coupa automatically converts the expenses based on the current exchange rate. This saves significant hours spent manually calculating and submitting expenses reports.

The enhanced platform includes additional unique capabilities:

  • Tax Calculation Engine Support – Coupa customers can integrate their own tax engine directly into the Coupa invoicing process. When you submit the invoice, Coupa can now “call out” to your tax engine to fetch your estimate to compare against the invoice.
  • Split Line Accounting – Coupa now enables users to intuitively assign multiple billing accounts to any particular line or transaction. These costs can be prorated at any point in the transaction – while making the Request, issuing the PO or upon receiving invoice from the supplier.
  • Show Policies on Check Out – Coupa shows the policies relevant to purchases in-kine and upon checkout. Coupa identifies the policies covering each requisition and displays them at the top of your Cart on the checkout page.
