Coupa to Celebrate its Third Annual Spend Management Conference in London

Inspire ’16 to focus on “Value as a Service”

LONDON – 29 September 2016 - Coupa Software, a leader in cloud-based spend management, today announced it will host one of Europe’s premier spend management conferences on 12 October at The Brewery in London, England. Coupa Inspire ‘16 brings together industry leaders who want to share best practices and learn how Coupa has helped re-define the enterprise software industry through value-based disruption.

This year’s annual conference will focus on the importance of ‘Value as a Service,’ which is carefully examined in the book Value as a Service: Embracing The Coming Disruption opined by Coupa CEO Rob Bernshteyn. “Value as a Service is where the market is heading. Now is the time to re-orientate to this perspective. As Bernshteyn explains, this is not a quick, organisational-restructuring exercise, but a culture change that needs to be embedded over time. Start now,” said Global Business Leader Ian Mann in his recent review of Bernshteyn’s book. Mann consults internationally on leadership and strategy and is the author of Strategy that Works.

Inspire attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Bernshteyn’s book as part of their registration package. Attendees will include some of Coupa’s global customers such as Airbus, BAE Systems and Aon as well as leading industry experts and analysts. They will gather in London to exchange ideas and share their stories on how Coupa solutions help them drive measurable business value at their organisations.

“Coupa consistently pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in spend management, and we wouldn’t miss this chance to collaborate and share knowledge and plans for improving our processes even further,” said Werner Miehle, head of Airbus Group Commodities related processes & information systems.

In keeping with conference tradition, Bernshteyn will kick off Inspire ’16 with a conversational presentation during the morning keynote address. He will highlight for Inspire customers Coupa’s persistent goal to ensure customer success, focus on results and strive for excellence.

“Together with our industry peers, we want to drive, debate and discuss disruptive value-based innovation that translates into real, quantifiable customer success,” Bernshteyn said. “As Coupa continues to redefine what is possible in the cloud management space by continuously pushing business boundaries through innovation, we want to inspire our customers to do the same.”

Also taking the stage to present at this year’s event in London are a host of expert speakers including Forrester Research’s renowned ePurchasing technologies expert, Duncan Jones, Shardul Oza, Vice President of Global Spend Management at Aon, and Paul Desrosiers, Senior Manager at KPMG. Breakout sessions will include industry experts representing Swiss Re and BAE Systems.

“It’s always incredibly valuable to share best practices, learn from each other and exchange ideas for bottom-line impact with industry experts, and Coupa Inspire brings the best together to do just that,” said Michael Boyle, head of procurement at BAE systems. “Working with Coupa, we are looking to push the boundaries of spend management and look forward to the opportunity to collaborate and share knowledge and plans for improving our processes even further.”
