Coupa Signs BMO Financial Group, One of North America’s Largest Banks

BMO Financial Group selects Coupa Solutions for its flexibility and ease-of-use

TORONTO, Canada – February 2, 2016 – Coupa Software, the leader in cloud-based spend management, announced today that BMO Financial Group (BMO), the 8th largest bank in North America as measured by assets, will roll out Coupa’s agile Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and expense management software in 2016.

“Coupa will transform how our organization conducts its procurement business,” said Blair Morrison, Chief Procurement Officer at BMO. “Coupa’s software is intuitive and easy to use, and it eliminates the need for customization through its high degree of flexibility and configurability. Plus, it has the capability to consolidate and standardize processes across the bank’s global operations; these were driving factors in BMO’s decision to choose Coupa,” added Morrison.

Coupa’s P2P and expense management solutions provide a consistent interface across procurement, invoicing and expenses as well as a common data model that can be fully integrated into ERP back-end accounting and payment systems. Coupa’s software is intensely focused on ease-of-use which simplifies data entry, streamlines processes, eliminates paper pushing and reduces administrative efforts.

“We are excited by BMO’s selection of our P2P and expense management solution. With BMO coming onboard, another one of Canada’s largest banks will now manage their spend using Coupa,” said Rob Bernshteyn, CEO of Coupa.
