LONDON – COUPA INSPIRE EMEA – 16 OCTOBER 2014Coupa Software, a leading provider of cloud applications for finance, announced today that it has continued to post record growth in the EMEA region. New global customers, nine new partnerships that extend Coupa’s services, and robust quarterly revenue growth fuelled this healthy expansion.

Coupa provides easy-to-use, cloud-based software that allows businesses of all sizes to gain more control over their financial processes, improve purchasing decisions and realise significant savings that directly impact the bottom line.

Already used by hundreds of companies in EMEA, more global enterprises are selecting Coupa because of the scalability of its cloud application suite. These recent wins include: Swiss Re, the leading wholesale provider of reinsurance and insurance; Liberty Global International, the largest international cable company; Colas, a leader in the construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure; Cofely, a GDF Suez company, a leading service business in the UK across public, private and healthcare sectors; Royal Ahold, an international retail group with strong local consumer brands across Europe and the United States; and Aggregate Industries, a member of the Holcim group, is an  aggregates, construction and building materials group.

“EMEA is now the fastest growing region for Coupa with revenues more than tripling in the last quarter,” commented Rob Bernshteyn, CEO at Coupa, “To ensure we continue to deliver unrivalled support to our customers in the region, we’ve moved our worldwide customer support centre to Dublin as well as establishing regional offices in Paris, France and Coupa Deutschland GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany.  We’ve also significantly expanded our partner ecosystem to ensure our customers’ business needs are being met. For companies that want to make the most of their procurement to create fundamental competitive advantage, these partners will help customers to re-engineer their processes and base their operations on Coupa.”

Coupa announced new partnerships in the region with Altaris, Axys-Consultants, Berkx, CGI (EMEA), Clarans-Consulting, State-of-Flux, Streamline, Vertice and Yaelsoft.

“For too long, finance professionals have not been able to play a strategic role within their businesses due to the lack of consumer-like solutions that can be easily used by both employees and vendors to help drive savings and compliance,” said Alex Kleiner, General Manager EMEA at Coupa, “Whether it’s implementing a single cloud suite across multiple business disciplines, integrating with ERP systems or getting 100 per cent of their suppliers to transact electronically, our main goal is to drive success for our customers in the form of tangible cost-savings and more financial control.”

The news was announced at Coupa INSPIRE EMEA ‘14, an industry event that provides strategic guidance for professionals across procurement, accounts payable and expense management. It follows a period of intense market development by Coupa across EMEA, during which cloud-based procurement and financial application implementation projects have gone live with numerous leading enterprises including Sanofi, eircom, DMG Media, and Aggregate Industries.
