Discussion to Highlight Winning Approaches for Application Rationalization and Business Agility in a Cloud Services Environment

SAN MATEO — December 7, 2015 — Coupa Software, the leading provider of cloud-based spend management solutions, announced that Kendra Von Esh, executive strategic advisor for Coupa, will present at the Society for Information Management (SIM) in the Suburbs Breakfast event in Chicago, Illinois on December 10, 2015.

Von Esh will lead a discussion on application rationalization and business agility in today’s rapidly maturing cloud services environment. She’ll leverage her experiences as a CIO and Executive Strategic Advisor to lead a discussion around the following questions:

• How does your IT organization quickly and effectively enable your business changes?
• How do you choose where to invest and where to consider cloud solutions for which processes/applications?
• What impact does this choice have on your business and IT? What are the benefits and risks?

Von Esh, a former CIO at Veolia, has been a trusted advisor and CIO for the past decade developing value added strategies and solutions transforming businesses with technology. She has experience merging multiple lines of business and rationalizing application portfolios leveraging cloud strategies and solutions, thereby enabling IT to be agile enough to support a constantly changing business landscape. Von Esh joined Coupa this year to leverage her experience and active involvement in CIO communities and industry boards to create inspiring dialogue and change strategies with internal and external IT communities.
