ISS Group Commits to Global Service Excellence with Coupa

Collaboration to provide a global gateway into streamlined business spend management and efficient procurement policy for worldwide integration

SAN MATEO, Calif. – November 2, 2018 – Coupa Software (NASDAQ: COUP), the leader in business spend management (BSM), today announced that ISS Group, a leading global facility services provider, selected Coupa to transform its business by streamlining its procure-to-pay (P2P) process with a user-friendly solution that sets the foundation to achieve savings and increase efficiency.

To support its vision to become the world’s greatest service organization, ISS sought a solution that would enable it to deliver consistent service (including from its supply chain) across the globe, while producing measurable business results.

ISS Group’s diversified system landscape presented challenges for unifying its procurement process worldwide. ISS looked to form one global, best practice P2P process across its entire enterprise. Now with the Coupa BSM solution, ISS Group will be able to drive standard policies across BSM functions, offer customers better transparency of its supply chain, improve efficiency and delivery capabilities for operations teams by eliminating complexity when ordering goods and services, reduce supply chain risk through better control of suppliers and visibility into modes of operation, and enable cost leadership through compliance to agreed contracts.

While many conventional P2P systems cover core procurement functionality, Coupa uniquely helped ISS Group realize three key benefits:

  • Strong executive commitment within Coupa to help ensure a successful implementation;
  • Proven track record of successful implementations across complex global companies; and
  • Significant ease of use with the P2P solution, to help drive user and supplier adoption.

During the selection process, Coupa connected ISS Group with existing customers to evidence the value of its solutions, two of which included ISS UK and ISS Netherlands, which were already seeing success using Coupa. Now, with the potential to use Coupa as part of ISS integrated services to ISS customers, ISS Group is working closely with Coupa to implement P2P in Germany, followed by a global roll out in 2019, with Norway as the pilot country. Once deployed, ISS Group looks to quantify success by measuring:

  • Captured spend (as percent of total spend)
  • Percent of pre-approved spend
  • Percent of spend processed through structured content
  • Percent of spend on contract
  • Invoice approval cycle times
  • Percent of invoices received electronically
  • Percent of incoming invoices without errors
