Rob Bernshteyn
Chief Executive Officer
Rob brings fifteen years of experience in enterprise software to his position as CEO at Coupa. Prior to joining Coupa, Rob spent four years with SuccessFactors, the global leader in Performance and Talent Management delivered via the software-as-a-service model. As a member of the SuccessFactors executive management team he served as their global vice president of product marketing and management.
Rob has also directed product management at Siebel Systems, where he contributed to building their Employee Relationship Management suite of applications into Siebel’s fastest-growing product two years after launch. Before that, Rob was an associate at McKinsey & Company and a global project manager at Accenture where he managed numerous successful global SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software implementations.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mark Verbeck
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mark Verbeck brings over twenty years experience in finance and operations from both emerging growth companies and major corporations. He is responsible for the company’s corporate finance, investor relations and human resources.
Prior to joining Coupa, Mark was CFO at BLADE Network Technologies, the leader in high performance cloud networking where his leadership was instrumental to the company’s execution through its growth and subsequent sale to IBM. Prior to BLADE, Mark was an executive and prominent Wall Street research analyst covering technology companies for firms such as Cantor Fitzgerald, Citigroup and Epoch Partners (acquired by Goldman Sachs). As a former equity analyst, Mark brings broad exposure to successful corporate strategy, capital processes, and acquisition approaches as well as experience with complex accounting and reporting issues. Prior to Wall Street, Mark worked at Deloitte, the global accounting and consulting company.
Mark has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.

Steve Sovik
Vice President, Sales
Steve Sovik brings over 20 years experience in enterprise software to Coupa. Prior to joining Coupa, Steve led sales across North America as Vice President for Oracle CRM On Demand. Prior to that role, Steve has held a variety of executive management positions at SupportSoft, Siebel, and Oracle leading sales teams focusing on IT infrastructure, CRM, ERP, and Supply Chain Manufacturing solutions. Steve began his career with Andersen Consulting where he served a variety of consulting engagements with a primary focus on international banking and manufacturing.
Steve is an Eagle Scout and is still active with the Boy Scouts of America, and serves on the Executive Board for the Mt. Diablo – Silverado District. He also coaches golf for his high school Alma mater De La Salle High School in Concord, CA.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science and Commerce in Decision and Information Sciences from Santa Clara University.

Tony Dawson
Vice President, Alliances
With more than eighteen years of relevant industry experience working with technology leaders including SuccessFactors, Instill and Netscape, Tony is responsible for the development of strategic alliances.
Prior to joining Coupa, Tony was the Senior Vice President of Sales at Workplace Answers, an eLearning solutions company. Previously, he was the Vice President of Latin America and Director of Business Development for SuccessFactors, where he led direct and channel sales organizations. Tony has also managed sales operations and business development at Instill Corp., served as Vice President of Channel Sales and Business Development at Brience, as well as Director of Worldwide Service Sales at Netscape Communications.
Tony is an Officer in the United States Army Reserve, works with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization, and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate working with San Mateo County at risk youth. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Ravi Thakur
Vice President, Services, Customers Success and Adoption
Prior to joining Coupa, Ravi spent over ten years at Oracle building and leading a variety of teams in the applications product line. He was instrumental in leading a number of cross functional teams to streamline the product management and development processes after the Peoplesoft, Siebel, and JDE acquisitions.
Throughout his career, he has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies to ensure successful deployments of Oracle solutions. He was also responsible for the hosting infrastructure and operational processes for Oracle Exchange, Oracle’s first multi-tenant SaaS offering in 2000.
Ravi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Tony Wessels
Vice President, Marketing
Prior to joining Coupa, Tony managed a worldwide marketing team at EMC and supervised the development of all EMC corporate campaigns, including its recent cloud campaign strategy. Before EMC, Tony was the Vice President of Marketing for APTARE, a storage resource management software company. As a key member of the executive team, Tony’s marketing efforts drove revenue growth over 100% YOY. Prior to APTARE, He was the Vice President of Marketing at Stata Labs, a provider of search-based email solutions, where he led all aspects of marketing and was instrumental in the company’s acquisition by Yahoo! Inc.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Roger Goulart
Vice President, Business Development & Alliances
Roger is responsible for extending Coupa Software’s value through partnerships with technology and distribution partners. He brings more than twenty years of sales, alliance, business development, support and professional services management experience to Coupa. Roger was responsible for driving all partnership, alliance, channel and business development at SuccessFactors, growing the company from $10M to over $150M in revenue.
Prior to SuccessFactors, Roger was Vice President of Alliances at Salesforce.com creating many of its early partnerships and helping the company grow from $7M in revenue to a public company with over $85M in revenue. Most recently, Goulart was vice president of strategic accounts and business development at Okta, where he helped grow the pre-revenue startup into a multimillion dollar, 80-person organization.
Roger received both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Santa Clara University.

Raja Hammoud
Vice President, Product Management
Raja is responsible for delivering on Coupa’s mission to launch innovation cloud technologies for ultimate customer success. With more than 17 years of enterprise software experience, Hammoud joins Coupa from Adobe Systems where she directed Product Marketing for its business process management business, resulting in Adobe’s recognition as a leader in respective industry evaluations. She subsequently drove the solutions roadmap for Adobe’s Customer Experience Management product line, and spearheaded the development of Adobe’s innovative Social Brand Engagement Solution.
Prior to Adobe, Raja served as Sr. Director of product management for webMethods, where she defined the BPM product roadmap and strategy, resulting in webMethods’ grand entry into the BPM space as an industry leader recognized by Forrester’s and Gartner’s BPM Magic Quadrant Evaluations.
Raja received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Science with high distinction and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

David Williams
Vice President, Technology
David has been part of the Coupa team since its inception. As Vice President of Technology, David leads Coupa’s technical developments and product delivery. One of the top talents in the developer community, David brings ten years of engineering experience with special focus on scalability, security and application extensibility.
Prior to joining Coupa, David was a seven year development veteran in the Oracle Procurement Applications group, where he performed advanced prototyping for Oracle’s Project Fusion. Earlier in his career, he developed the core infrastructure for Oracle Exchange.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech.
