Sustainable Business Spend Management

Coupa creates positive economic, social, and environmental impact through our BSM platform.We refer to this as Sustainable BSM. Our goal is for every business spent to become more sustainable and more inclusive. We believe that customers and suppliers working together as a Community can create exponential ESG impact.


At Coupa, we work to make our business more environmentally sustainable, while also leveraging our BSM platform to help customers minimize their own environmental footprints. We measure and report on our Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 business travel emissions footprint and have focused efforts on being carbon neutral and sourcing 100% renewable energy to cover our office electricity consumption.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Improving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is one of our most essential values at Coupa, and it is necessary to maintain a healthy company culture, attract the best talent, and ensure that we remain one of the most innovative and forward-looking companies in the industry. We have always made a conscious effort to foster DEI at Coupa, and this has made us a stronger, more dynamic, and more welcoming company.
Coupa Cares

Coupa Cares

In 2016, we launched Coupa Cares, which is our program for employee volunteerism and philanthropy and serves as a platform to help our employees, as well as Coupa, have an impact in the world. In 2021, we donated $630,000 to nonprofits and through educational scholarships, launched our employee donation match program, and organized our annual Global Volunteer Day.

Coupa Cares initiatives are made possible through support from our Coupa Advantage program.

We believe we have responsibilities to serve all of our stakeholders – including our shareholders, customers, our employees, our vendors, our community of suppliers, and more. Our Code of Conduct represents the standards by which we all must operate. We’ve also voluntarily developed our first Modern Slavery Statement and will continue to update.
