Our ESG Priorities
Our corporate sustainability strategy framework is focused on 10 ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) priorities, determined through a materiality assessment conducted in mid-2020. The assessment included seeking internal and external stakeholder feedback.
Per our vision, we believe our greatest potential for economic, social, and environmental impact is through our Business Spend Management (BSM) product platform, which helps our customers integrate ESG considerations across their business spend activities. With our thousands of customers, millions of suppliers, and trillions of dollars of business spend under management, we have the ability to influence spend decisions at scale that can reduce risks and have positive impact across global supply chains, communities, and business operations.

Competitive Advantage with Supplier Diversity
In 2016, we launched Coupa Cares, which is our program for employee volunteerism and philanthropy and serves as a platform to help our employees, as well as Coupa, have an impact in the world. In 2019, we donated $500,000 to nonprofits, awarded $50,000 in educational scholarships, and organized a Global Volunteer Day, Service Trip to Costa Rica, and 40+ group volunteer events.
