We are building a community of inspired employees, customers, suppliers, and partners who share our belief in the power of spend to drive positive impact for businesses, society, and the planet.
Our ESG Priorities
Our corporate sustainability strategy framework is focused on 10 ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) priorities, determined through a materiality assessment conducted in mid-2020. The assessment included seeking internal and external stakeholder feedback.
Per our vision, we believe our greatest potential for economic, social, and environmental impact is through our Business Spend Management (BSM) product platform, which helps our customers integrate ESG considerations across their business spend activities. With our thousands of customers, millions of suppliers, and trillions of dollars of business spend under management, we have the ability to influence spend decisions at scale that can reduce risks and have positive impact across global supply chains, communities, and business operations.
Please see our Featured Highlights for more info, and we will continue to update our approach and progress as we build out our program further.
We care about the planet and strive to help our customers reduce their environmental footprint while also reducing ours.

BSM-Powered Corporate Responsibility
Business Spend Management (BSM) is at the heart of driving sustainability within sourcing, procurement and supply chain organizations. BSM-Powered Responsibility can be woven across the entire Coupa platform and customer community.
Competitive Advantage with Supplier Diversity
The benefits of a diverse supplier base go beyond social good. A supplier diversity program can drive innovation, reduce supply chain disruption, lower operating costs, and support local communities at the same time. Check out Coupa’s diverse business certification guide for suppliers and Diverse Business Directory that companies can use to help grow business spend with diverse and inclusive suppliers.
In 2016, we launched Coupa Cares, which is our program for employee volunteerism and philanthropy and serves as a platform to help our employees, as well as Coupa, have an impact in the world. In 2019, we donated $500,000 to nonprofits, awarded $50,000 in educational scholarships, and organized a Global Volunteer Day, Service Trip to Costa Rica, and 40+ group volunteer events.
Coupa Cares initiatives are made possible through support from our Coupa Advantage program.Learn More
Employee Resource Groups
At Coupa, we believe that diversity and inclusion must be embedded into the way that we do business. Our aim is to ensure that our employees feel a strong sense of belonging and are comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work everyday and our employee resource groups help support that.
Our Business Practices
At Coupa, our three core values – Ensure Customer Success, Focus on Results, and Strive for Excellence – guide our actions every day.
We believe we have responsibilities to serve all of our stakeholders – including our shareholders, customers, our employees, our vendors, our community of suppliers, and more. Our Code of Conduct represents the standards by which we all must operate. We’ve also voluntarily developed our first Modern Slavery Statement and will continue to update.
