Why is Cirtuo being rebranded to Coupa Category Strategy?

We are rebranding Cirtuo to Coupa Category Strategy to align the combined capabilities under a single, cohesive brand that reflects our strategic vision. This shift reinforces the importance of category strategy within the Coupa platform and ensures that customers will benefit from a streamlined, consistent experience.

What does this rebrand mean for me?

As Cirtuo becomes Coupa Category Strategy, you’ll gain access to a broader ecosystem, deeper intelligence, and a more unified way to drive measurable business results. You’ll be able to leverage a platform that not only helps you build better strategies, but ensures those strategies are executed effectively and continuously improved through AI and data.

Will there be changes to the features or functionality of the solutions?

No; your current solution will continue to operate as a best-of-breed standalone solution. All existing workflows and capabilities will remain the same. Starting in January 2026, you’ll see a refreshed user interface — including updated logos, colors, and typography — but no loss of functionality.

In addition, new integrations with Coupa Sourcing and Coupa AI will begin rolling out to give you deeper insights and build tighter connections between strategy and execution.

Will my current Cirtuo solution be discontinued?

No. Your current Cirtuo solution will continue to function as it does today — as a true standalone solution. You can simply continue to work with what you have.

Will my data or configurations change?

No. Your data, historical strategies, taxonomies, templates, and configurations will remain exactly as they are today. The rebrand does not affect your underlying data or system setup.

What is Coupa’s future product roadmap for Category Strategy?

Coupa Category Strategy is becoming more deeply connected to the intelligence, data, and execution capabilities that power the broader Coupa platform. You’ll soon be able to translate your strategies into action — driving even greater impact and value realization through deeper insights, automation, and connected sourcing workflows.

Coupa’s upcoming product releases will bring this unified vision to life through key product integrations, including:

January 2026: Foundational integrations

Coupa Sourcing: Strategies can now flow directly into sourcing execution — allowing you to create and manage sourcing events, while also tracking the value from that sourcing event within Coupa Category Strategy.

May 2026: Expanding to complex sourcing events

Coupa AI Classification (AIC): Category Strategy will leverage data and insights from Coupa’s AI Classification (AIC) tool to automatically build and refine category taxonomies, ensuring you have the right data to inform your strategies.

Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO): We’ll extend current capabilities to more complex sourcing events through integration with Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO), empowering you to model and execute sophisticated sourcing scenarios with precision and confidence.

Will training and documentation be updated?

Yes. Updated Coupa-branded documentation, training materials, and help content will be released as part of the January 2026 update. No retraining is required, but optional materials will be provided to help users navigate the new capabilities.
