MEDIA ALERT: Ruby Creator Presenting at Coupa

WHAT:  Ruby creator, Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto, will be visiting the Coupa offices with a Japanese delegation of government officials, engineering students, and technology leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges surrounding Ruby 2.0.

Coupa is the leading provider of cloud-based applications for finance. The company’s platform is built using Ruby on Rails.

WHO:  Matz will join Kazuaki Tanaka, professor, Kyushu University of Technology, and David Williams, Coupa’s vice president of technology.

WHEN:  Wednesday, October 9 from 3:30-4:30pm PT. The visit will consist of an interactive discussion and Q&A. Informal reception will follow.
